In
the world of fast associated computing the demand for qualified networking
professional will never fall. It is the starting step in the field of
networking. Not solely software Program Corporation but additionally other
organisations require networking professionals. CCNA stands for Cisco Certified
Networking Associates. It is a fundamental level accreditation course. It is
higher than entry level Cisco networking certification. It is definitely a
career move and foundation certificate for any individual who want a bright
career in networking. Almost every organisation needs good and qualifying
networking professional. There is always need for candidate with CCNA certification and CCNA training. CCNA certification can also be earned by
passing ICND 1 and ICND 2 exams. CCNA certification demonstrates your knowledge
in maintain, secure, operate medium sized network using Cisco technologies.
Prospect of CCNA course
The
demand for CCNA course and CCNA training has grown over last couple of years.
Businesses are executing data communication network more in order to cutting
down operational costs, enhancing efficiencies, ensuring competitive advantage
in the market. Job after completing CCNA course and CCNA certification involves
coordinating resources to incorporate networking requirements of the company
and provide support in the network. It also involves assisting in planning,
execution, and recognition of network system requirement. CCNA certification
holders have knowledge of telecommunication technology, integrating system etc.
For this reason companies desire a candidate with CCNA training and CCNA
certification. There is prospect of
becoming a community expert if the candidate holds CCNA certification and have gone
through CCNA training. CCNA course and CCNA training gives better job prospect
in IT sector. CCNA course and CCNA training also makes candidate eligible
various expert level Cisco certification courses.
Structure of CCNA course
There
are two parts of CCNA course and CCNA training. They are Interconnecting Cisco
networking devices part 1(ICND1) and Interconnecting Cisco networking devices
part 2(ICND2). ICND1 focuses providing skills and knowledge necessary to
implement and support a small switched and routed network. A small network is
defined as 1 to 20 hosts connected to a single switch. That switch is also
connected to a router that provides a routed link to a simulated internet. This
part of CCNA course and CCNA training describes how network functions,
identifying major components, function of network components, issues related to
increasing traffic on an Ethernet LAN, the reasons for extending the reach of a
LAN, reasons for connecting networks with routers and how routed network
transmit data through network, functions of WANs, manage router start up etc.
Another
part of CCNA course and CCNA training is ICND2. It deals with building simple network, WLANs,
LAN connections, WAN connections and network environment management. For
attending ICND 2 One must have knowledge of install, configure and trouble
shoot a small network and knowledge equivalent to ICND1.ICND 2 involves
successfully installing, operating, trouble shooting a small to medium size
enterprise branch network. It covers topics on VLSM and IPv6, extending
switched network with VLANs, configuring, verifying, troubleshooting VLANs,
determining IP routes, managing IP traffic, establishing point to point
connection, establishing Frame Relay Connections etc.
